Hi I'm Kathy

I’m a wife, mom of two, musician, avid reader, quilter, and lover of Jesus, animals, and chocolate. But more than anything, I’m passionate about helping women experience spiritual transformation through the Word of God.

Life is busy, and it’s easy for faith to take a backseat amid daily demands. That’s why I created Immortal Jellyfish Creations—a place where women can grow in spiritual maturity, develop a consistent habit of Bible study, gain confidence in sharing their faith, and live with boldness and purpose in Christ. Through Bible studies, devotionals, scripture memorization tools, and a faith-filled community, my heart is to equip and encourage you to deepen your walk with God.

Christian women are called to thrive—not just get by. My vision is to see women like you embrace your identity in Christ, stand firm in His truth, and shine His light in a world that desperately needs it. If you’re longing for peace, focus, and a deeper connection with Jesus, you’re in the right place.

This journey isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. Let’s walk together, rooting ourselves in Christ and boldly living for His glory.

Welcome, friend—I’m so glad you’re here!

Our Story & Purpose

Discover the Mission, Vision, and Heart Behind Immortal Jellyfish Creations —

Empowering Christian Women to Grow in Faith and Share God’s Truth

WHY IMMORTAL JELLYFISH

The Immortal Jellyfish undergoes a rare transformation called transdifferentiation, allowing it to return to its earliest life stage and live indefinitely. In the same way, when we surrender to Christ, we experience spiritual transformation through the Word of God, being made new by the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Just as the jellyfish thrives in different life stages, Christian women are called to continually grow in faith, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and embrace their God-given purpose.

OUR STORY

At Immortal Jellyfish Creations, we focus on spiritual transformation through the Word of God. We are passionate about helping Christian women experience lasting spiritual transformation by staying rooted in Scripture. Our mission is grounded in the belief that the Bible provides the answers to life’s challenges and is key to spiritual growth.

Our mission and vision come from a heart of wanting to see spiritual transformation through the Word of God.

At Immortal Jellyfish Creations, my mission is to equip Christian women with:

  • Bible study resources that deepen their faith
  • Discipleship tools that encourage spiritual growth
  • Community support to keep them encouraged
  • Scripture memorization plans to hide God’s Word in their hearts

I believe every Christian woman is called to boldly share the Gospel and stand firm in her identity in Christ.

We envision an army of Christian women deeply rooted in scripture, passionately committed to Christ, and boldly sharing His truth.

Through intentional study, spiritual maturity, and unwavering faith, we, as sisters in Christ, seek to shine as lights in the darkness, bringing the hope of Jesus to the world.

This mission and vision come from a heart of wanting to see spiritual transformation through the Word of God spread throughout the world.

My Faith Journey

1986
A photo of Kathy Lindberg during her college years, reflecting a time when she was exploring different religions and starting her faith journey.

I didn't grow up with any sort of relationship with God.  As a family, we didn't even go to church.  So when I went to college I took some religion classes because I was curious about God.  Of those classes I was drawn to Eastern religions.  I graduate with a degree in Religious Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.

My senior year in college I wanted to learn to play the guitar.  I bought my first acoustic for $50, taught myself chords and played for many years.  20 years later I wanted to hone my craft so I started taking lessons from my son's guitar teacher at that same local music store.

During the first two years of lessons my guitar teacher and I begin having discussions about religion and God.  He brings me to Christ.  I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Shortly after getting saved I begin attending church.  I am absolutely terrified the first time I walk through the doors.  It was Easter Sunday 2009.  Exactly 3 years later I am baptized in that church.

I begin and continue to lead worship at my church.  I also use my musical talents as a Music Therapist for many years.

When the global Covid-19 Pandemic hit everything changed.  I lost my mother to cancer.  I lost my job as a self-emplyeed Music Therapist and my Pastor, the only Pastor I have ever known, left our church.

I begin a new job and a new chapter of my life.  I begin working at Brookdale Senior Living in Wooster--first as a program assistant in our memory care unit and then as the Program Coordinator in our assisted living community.

After-effects of the pandemic make it challenging to provide church services for the residents.  I feel God nudging me for about a year to provide spiritual programming for them.  It is not until June of 2023 that I am obedient to that call and write a devotional book.  From this project Immortal Jellyfish Creations is born.
