Some days, courage feels out of reach. Life is heavy, challenges press in, and fear whispers that we’re not enough. But as women rooted in Christ, we don’t have to rely on our strength—we have His Word. Here are 5 powerful verses to stand on when courage feels impossible:
- Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God’s promise is clear: courage isn’t optional—it’s paired with His presence. You are never alone.
- Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Courage grows when we remember that God not only walks with us, He upholds us. Even when we feel weak, He is strong.
- Psalm 31:24 – “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
Hope fuels courage. When we anchor our hearts in God’s promises, fear loses its grip.
- 2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Fear is natural, but it’s not from God. Courage is a gift He equips us with—power, love, and clarity of mind.
- Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Courage is standing firm knowing that God never abandons His children. He fights for you even before you step forward.
When fear threatens to paralyze you, stand on these verses. Speak them aloud, hide them in your heart, and let God’s truth rise above every doubt. Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s trusting God in the face of it.
